Antique Tapestry Persian Merchants

his is a great tapestry in very muted antique colors. The subject matter is of Persian Merchants in a Bizarre. You see the
men on donkeys and merchants kneeling on rugs selling there wares, there pottery, there pots. There is a camel in the
center that is almost a display stand for the Persian carpets. Nice tapestry with just a little nick out of the top left corner.
Measuring 54 ½”w x 18 ½”h.

Antique Europeon Tapestry Colonial Village Scene

Here is a very pleasant tapestry with wonderfully muted delicate colors. It is a European colonial village
scene. It is in very nice condition and it is nice and clean. I suspect that this tapestry was most likely
made in Belgium. It Measures 55 ¾”w x 18 ¾”h.

SALE Antique Tapestry Persian Tribal Village Scene

Here is a wildly vivid, bright and exciting tapestry of what appears to be a Persian tribal village scene,
there are several scenes going on in the one tapestry. There are older men sitting in the center playing
some sort of board game, there are men on horse back waving guns in the air and a dog chasing them
This tapestry is Belgium and is stamped as such on the back and is in spectacular condition in a super
fine weave. This is a super long Tapestry measuring 58 1/8”w 19 7/8”h.

Antique Tapestry Palm Trees & Moors

This tapestry has a particularly fine weave. I suspect it is made in France. It is an interesting scene of
Palm trees and people that appear to be Moors. There are a lot of boats in a canal. The colors are
muted yet bright. There is so much fine detail in this tapestry – with camels in the background, horses,
nice architecture. It is nice and clean and an unusually long tapestry. Measuring 35 ¾” x 19 ½”h.

Persian Rug Pictorial Carpet 1920

Outstanding & unique this old Kerman pictorial rug circa 1920. This rug is so incredible, that I hardly
know where to begin to describe it. It is a pictorial rug & every inch of this rug has a different pattern. I
would so love to know the story it tells. This rug is hand knotted in a fine weave & the overall look of the
design to me is quite primitive. The condition is very good, having only extremely minimal wear.

Persian Rug Hamadan Smal l

Super nice Oriental rug, A Persian Hamadan about 25 years old. Fully hand knotted & in very good
condition. Having only a very minor amount of normal wear, It has good pyle& a good amount of fringe
remaining. This rug is nice & clean & came from a very fine estate here in Camden Maine. It measures
3’x4’The colors are very pleasing ,very natural.

Needlework Summer Carpet Lovely

Here is a lovely vintage cruel work summer carpet. It has realistic & lifelike floral decoration with true
colors. This carpet is in absolutely perfect condition, backed in a heavy white muslin or canvas type of
fabric. It measures 9’ x 11’-11” just shy of 9x12. I think this rug would also make a most spectacular wall
hanging.

Antique Tapestry Persian Village Scene

This tapestry has quite spectacular colors - the dominate color is mauve with a combination putty color
that makes it very exciting. There are several scenarios going on in this tapestry it appears to be a
Moorish or Persian village scene. Incorporated in this tapestry are men on horse back, men on camels
and great architecture in the back. Measuring 55 3/8”w x 19 ¼’w. It is nice and clean and bright and
ready to be framed or made into a pillow or edged with fringe and hung on the wall.
