This is one of the most amazing jewelry brooches I’ve ever come across - one of a kind to say the least!
As you can see it is sterling silver. It has one large pearl, four smaller pearls, one large natural
turquoise with some veining and four smaller turquoise stones that are more opaque with no veining. It
is an impressive size measuring 3 ¼” in length x 2” at widest point x 1 ¼” in height. On the underside it
is marked “Israel.” This fabulous beauty is so heavy ,the quality is so fine & on a black coat or blazer it
looks like a million! I believe this brooch dates from the 1950’s.If you like big beautiful brooches, then

Here is a wonderful 19th century Pietra Dura Brooch. The work in the brooch is very fine and the colors
are elegant having a tiny Lapis Lazulli center in the largest flower. Each piece of the various stones are
inlaid by hand into the black marble base. The mounting is very decorative with a exquisitely chased top
rim and a decorative twisted rope around the base. It has a simple C Clasp on the back and it is in very

Diamond Shaped Case is Abalone and Silver and is 2" long, and 1.5" wide. This case has very beautiful

superior. Marked 750 for English gold standard 18Kt & channel set with 22 glorious rich faceted
garnets. The necklace is quite heavy .The chain is braided herringbone design that is so fine & so
smooth to the touch ,the five section frame is attached to the chain by channels on the frame , so it is
completely moveable as to just lay perfectly on the collarbone area. This is so ultra feminine & demure,
so elegant& the quality is superior. Measuring by stretching the necklace out flat from end to end 16”,
the frame with the garnets measures 6 ¼” wide x 2 ¼” long at the very center. Measured the way it
would lay on the neck is 8 ½”

Cameo Lady & Swan: Greek Mythology
|
19th century cameo from Greek mythology. This is a most unusual subject, not a common one to find. I
believe that the subject is “Leda” who was loved by Zeus. Leda was the daughter of King Thestius of
Aetolia. So Leda was loved by Zeus who came to her disguised as a swan, and so goes the story. Back
to the Cameo right, The woman appears to be sitting high up on a cloud as the Swan hovers over her.
The cameo is carved of conch shell & is set into a silver mounting with a bead edge as well as interior
fine twist rope edge. This cameo dated from the middle 1800’s & In my opinion is a Victorian rendition of
the story of Leda & Zeuse,since in Greek Mythology she was nude & the swan was life size .Collecting
cameos is quite the amazing category of antiques .People actually collect these as miniature portrait &
sculpture .This cameo measures 1 5/8” long x 1 ¼” wide , has a simple c clasp with safety & a tiny ring
to use it as a pendant.

19th century, Lapis Lazuli Jewelry Suite. This fabulous Lapis set consists of a bracelet with four natural
stones, an adjustable ring, a pair of earrings and a brooch. All resting in its original silk covered fitted
presentation box. The set is made from multiple layers of incredible fine silver filigree. The stones are
all natural and there is a maker’s mark that was found by microscopic inspection and the carat counts
and the identification that came from the gemologist which will also accompany this set. The box
measures 8 3/8” x 1 ¾”, the ring 1”d, the pin 1 5/8”, the brooch 7 3/8”d, the earrings 7/8”. The earrings
are screw back. If you have ever wanted a dynamite gift this is it. I can’t begin to tell you how superior
