Inkwell Signed Tiffany
Here is a super and attractive perfect sized inkwell – signed Tiffany Studios New York #845. It has a wonderful pine needle design and a good surface patina. The interior caramel slag glass has several cracks and it is also missing the interior glass well. But overall I would say the condition is very good – and one could always have a custom made inkwell made for this. Velden Baders who wrote the book on inkwells will make any size inkwell you need for under $20. It measures 3 ¼” square x 3”h. ...

Large Authentic Tiffany Studios Inkwell Crab
Here is a nice large sized signed Tiffany Studios New York Inkwell with impressed number underneath. The inkwell is bronze with a lot of verde in the incised pattern reserves. There is a little bit of worn spots where the dark bronze patination has worn off. The spots that they are in leave me to believe that this is the way the owner touched the inkwell over time. It has the large crab on the top of the lid and the hinge is fairly good – it is just a tiny bit wobbly. The inside glass well is ...

Antique Champleve Inkwell Enamel Brass Jade
Wonderful 19th century Champleve inkwell. Exceptionally fine enamel work set into brass and in the center under the inkwell the inkwell is mounted into a white jade. The combination of the exquisite, rich cobalt blue with tones of white, almost a Chinese or Chippendale red, baby blue, and pale blue is incredibly complimentary and free flowing with one another. The inkwell is in a petite small size and again the movement is extremely free flowing. The little inkwell sits on four bun feet. It is ...

Elegant Green Onyx Inkwell with Bronze Bust Large Standish
The great one, I love this inkwell. Dating from the Art Nouveau era. Carved in the most stunning & delicious polished onyx. The central portrait bust of a Historical Figure (might be Gutenberg?) in Bronze & flanked on either side with matching indwells. The detail of the bronze is quite exceptional & the patina so rich & lustrous. This inkwell sits on attached pieces of the same onyx. Of course it is very heavy! In my opinion this is a very good investment piece, one that you can live with & ...

Nautical Bronze Ink Well - Monumental Figural
Nautical Bronze Ink Well. This one of the most incredible nautical/maritime theme ink wells, it is quite spectacular. It is a very finely caste bronze and it is quite a large size measuring 18 ½”l x 6”w x 9 ½”h to the top of the fisherman’s head. He appears to standing on the bow of a boat and holding a lot of rope. I would imagine it is simulating pulling up to the dock or the pier and going to tie the rope to anchor the boat. At the other end of the rope it is attached to a stump which is ...

This is an incredible all over bronze inkwell on a scalloped tray. The inkwell has its original glass ink well which is also in very good condition. The overall inkwell is in very good condition too– and the surface patina is dark and rich. The impressed hallmark underneath the inkwell tray reads – A. S. & G. over what appears to be a lamp. This is an incredible piece! The tray has a diameter of 12 7/8” and overall it is 5”h. Striving For Excellence It isn’t brilliance or just getting the breaks ...
