Kramer Bros Co”1870 Dayton Ohio. The last number of the date is illegible, but there is no question at
all that it dates from the 1870’s.The Kramer Bros factory is famous for they’re work in cast iron items ,
such as garden benches & fountains.

perfectly. The gold closed case is so finely chased on front & back in such a sophisticated delicate
design. The watch face is porcelain, Inside the back cover is inscribed “Etta L Rawley” Inside the works
compartment is marked Warranted the KWC Co(585) for 14kt-15kt gold-the keystone hallmark &
marked on the highly chased jewel plate is Elgin Nat’l Watch Co.USA-17014385 /15 Jewel. A very heavy
watch for such a small size measuring1 5/8” diameter. Weight on digital gem scale is 1.84 oz /33.5 dwt.

Nice turn of the century French Carriage clock. I had my clock man check it out & he said it’s a great
clock but it needs a little work, he said it has a cylinder escapement, that is worn & should be replaced
with a platform lever-the clock is fairly clean with not much wear

This is truly a beautiful work of art! It is hard to find theses days such a fine and detailed miniature
travel clock. It is completely enameled on both sides with a oriental design in cobalt blue and rich lemon
yellow – there are other oriental designs – it appears to me to be Japanese actually.
