Tall Glass Compote Gold Gilt Pair Honesdale Pennsylvania Glass
Pair of 19th century matching crystal and gold gilt tazzas. As far as my research has proven this magnificent pair of tazzas were made by Honesdale Decorating Company in Honesdale Pennsylvania. They are free blown then tooled into shape. The gilt decoration was applied after annealing and fired on. These tazzas are a very impressive size measuring 11” high with a 6 ¼” diameter of the bowl. I hope you can see the deeply engraved floral decorations which are richly incised with gold gilding. They have a lovely scalloped edge and the tazzas have a beautiful free and natural form. They are in absolutely perfect condition!

Exceptional Val St. Lambert Paperweight
Here is a rich and wonderful art nouveau era paperweight. The paperweight is in such a naturalistic swirl form almost volcanic looking. The interesting part about this paperweight is that all the color and design is on the outside - when you turn the weight over you can see that it is completely clear on the inside! Quite unusual and unique! This is a very large paperweight and it feels like it weighs about 5 pounds! It is very attractive and in very good condition. It is signed Val St Lambert with the initials of the artist in script. I believe this dates from the Art Nouveau era 1885-1915. To follow is a bit of text from the glass encyclopedia on Val St Lambert: Cristalleries du Val St Lambert is near Liege, in Belgium, Europe. Founded in 1825, it is still the major Belgian glassworks. It has always made a wide range of glass, the best Val St Lambert glass rivaling any in the world. During the second half of the 19th century they made cut crystal glass and colored Victorian styles, they were major art nouveau and art deco glass-makers during this century. More recently their reputation is high for cut and engraved glassware. The paperweight has an overall diameter of 4” and it is approximately 3 ¼”high.

Glass Paperweight Signed Fellerman
Here is an absolutely outstanding example of the world renowned glassworks of Fellerman. Fellerman is famous for his early works of the 1970’s imitating Tiffany and other famous art glass producers. This massive paperweight is very exciting – if it had a signature of Tiffany on it I would doubt it. The work is excellent the spherical design and colors are just rich and elaborate. It is signed on the base of the paperweight Fellerman 76 and that is for 1976. The paperweight measures approx 5” in diameter x 3 ½” h. It has substantial weight to it and this one has an open blown pontil on the base. Here is a little bit of the accreditations of Mr. Fellerman with his museum exhibitions – Corning Museum of Glass permanent collection, Corning N.Y.; The Chrysler Museum permanent collection, Norfolk, VA.; White House Collection, Washington D.C.; Master Craftsman Award, State of Connecticut; Queen Beatrice of the Netherlands, private collection.; "North American Glass" Gilford Handicraft center, Gilford Connecticut; Hartford Square North, Architectural Installation, Hartford CT; Castle Street, Interior Installation, Great Barrington, MA; NCAA Headquarters, Installation, Overland Park, Kansas; Bradley International Airport, Inaugural Exhibit, Bradley CT; Society of Art's & Crafts , Boston, MA.; Fragile Glass, Finalist, Glass Magazine; American Glass, Lever House, N.Y.C.; ITT, Limited Edition Vessel; Bruce Museum, Exhibit, Greenwich, CT; Tampa Museum, Exhibit, Tampa, Florida; Brookfield Craft Center, Exhibit, Brookfield, CT. So he was well noted and his works especially these early works are highly sought after by serious glass collectors.

Art Glass Paperweight SignedFellerman Art Nouveau
This is one of the most magnificent art nouveau paperweights by Fellerman. It signed on the bottom Fellerman F115. The colors are incredibly captivating – it is very art nouveau in design with what I believe to be stylized daisies embracing the top of the paperweight. There are colored swirls of nicely contrasting butterscotch and a mellow yellow. It is very iridescent with a nice satin surface. Fellerman is famous for his early works of the 1970’s imitating Tiffany and other famous art glass producers. This paperweight is one of Fellerman’s early pieces – his early works are highly sought after as they were unique one of a kind items and not in production for a very long period of time. The condition is very good and it measures 3 3/8” in diameter x 2” high. Here is a little bit of the accreditations of Mr. Fellerman with his museum exhibitions - Corning Museum of Glass permanent collection, Corning N.Y.; The Chrysler Museum permanent collection, Norfolk, VA.; White House Collection, Washington D.C.; Master Craftsman Award, State of Connecticut; Queen Beatrice of the Netherlands, private collection.; "North American Glass" Gilford Handicraft center, Gilford Connecticut; Hartford Square North, Architectural Installation, Hartford CT; Castle Street, Interior Installation, Great Barrington, MA; NCAA Headquarters, Installation, Overland Park, Kansas; Bradley International Airport, Inaugural Exhibit, Bradley CT; Society of Art's & Crafts , Boston, MA.; Fragile Glass, Finalist, Glass Magazine; American Glass, Lever House, N.Y.C.; ITT, Limited Edition Vessel; Bruce Museum, Exhibit, Greenwich, CT; Tampa Museum, Exhibit, Tampa, Florida; Brookfield Craft Center, Exhibit, Brookfield, CT.

Art Glass Daum Nancy Pate de Verre Plate
This is one totally incredible plate! It is made of exceptionally fine crystal. Starting from the center there is a molded portrait of Beethoven in high relief on Amethyst glass - on one side of the portrait is 1770 on the other side 1827. It measures 3 ½” in diameter - in other words it is a portrait disc annealed to the center of the plate. The disc is then surrounded by frosted glass in the style of Lalique. The remaining edge of the plate is pure brilliant but colorless crystal. The overall measurement is 9 ¾” in diameter. This plate is signed “Daum 1970 Made in France #167/2000” all in diamond point script. This is a very fine and sophisticated Plate.

R Lalique Glass Lamp Luminary Virgin & Child
This is one of the most fabulous Lalique pieces I have ever come across! As you can see it is of the Virgin Mary with Baby Jesus. This same piece can be found in the book Lalique by Jessica Hodge on page 140. It reads – “Here is an example of a rare…category in Lalique’s work, that of a religious subject. In the 1930’s he created a number of pieces, principally panels and pendants, with subjects drawn from Christian imagery. The commonest themes, as can be seen here, were the Crucifixion and the Virgin and Child, and many of the larger pieces in this category were subsequently converted into lamps. On the left is the vierge et l’Enfant table light, in clear and frosted glass, formed from a rectangular panel intaglio-molded with a figure of the Virgin holding the Child, and set within a chrome base. Stencil mark “R. Lalique France.” 40 cm high. The original design was first created in 1937; relatively late in Lalique’s career and around the time he was working on his most major religious commission, the church of St. Matthew on the island of Jersey. The rigidly frontal pose of the virgin and the stylized folds of the garments worn by both figures reflect the influence of archaic Greek sculpture on Art Deco designs.” It is in fabulous condition – signed on the lower right hand side in R. Lalique France. The base is black patinated bronze and it too along with the wiring which is fairly recent are also in very good condition. I think the pictures speak for themselves when it comes to this wonderful piece of art! In the stand it measures 15 ¼” high and the glass piece itself measures 13 3/8”h x 3 3/8”w x 1 5/8”deep.

3 Moser Juice Glasses Cranberry Gold Antique
Here are three matching very nice Mosher juice glasses. They are in an elegant vivid cranberry with a lavish a mount of gold gilding in the style of reserves and flowers. The condition of each is very very good with each having very minor wear to the gold enameling. On one of the juice glasses there is a tiny flea bit on the lip of the glass. On another one of the glasses you have one enameled bead missing – otherwise they are in very very good condition. The beautiful shade of cranberry combining with the gold is quite spectacular! Circa early 1900’s. They would make a fabulous Christmas gift for that special someone. Each glass measures 3 5/8”h with a 2 ¼” diameter. Antique Glass Blue Dolphin Candle Holders

Here is a matching Pair of elegant and vivid Blue dolphin Candlesticks. They are a very exciting pair of candlesticks and, as you may know, one of my favorite subjects – Dolphins. They are very stylish and I believe they date from the 19th century or at the very newest early 1900’s. I suspect that they are bristle glass with a heavy interesting dense blue color and the molding is very well defined. The condition is excellent. They measure 9”h with a 4 ½” overall diameter.

Goblet Cut Engraved Glass Chalice Bost & Sandwich
Here’s an absolutely wonderful 19th century cut and engraved glass chalice. It is flint glass and when you tap it, it rings for a very long time. It is engraved in the center with a classical wreath design with initial H in fancy script. It has a star point tip base which is in very good condition. It’s clear as a bell - possibly made by the Boston & Sandwich Company of Boston Mass. It measures 9 ¾”H with the top opening 3 5/8” in diameter and the base 4 1/8” in diameter. I hope the picture shows the wide superb cutting detail - It’s in a wide panel and loop design which continues down to the base. The clarity, cutting, and style are all spectacular and very reminiscence of the work at the Boston & Sandwich Glass Company. Striving For Excellence It isn’t brilliance or just getting the breaks, It is consistent attention to & honest respect for the Customer.

New England Glass Engraved Pitcher with Birds
Wonderful early glass item from the 19th century – I am 99% sure that it is New England Glass. This pitcher is blown mold glass in a very nice pattern. The glass is quite heavy and substantial and the decoration is of lovely birds. On one side of the pitcher you see the mother and father bird intently gazing at a nest full of eggs and on the others side of the pitcher they are intently gazing again only this time looking extremely excited and happy at the little tiny heads of the birds in the nest. It is positively wonderful – I love this pitcher. As I sit here and do this description I actually have Goosebumps from the sheer beauty of the subject. It is in very very good condition – not a chip or flake anywhere. It measures 7 ½”h with a base diameter 3 ¾”. Crystal Wine Goblets Engraved Dorflinger Kalana Pattern
10 Dorflinger wine glasses. Here is a special rare find – 10 wine glasses or goblets in the Kalana Poppy Pattern made by Dorflinger around 1905-1906. This was a special line of floral designs developed by the Dorflinger Company. It is interesting there is an article from an old Art & Antiques Magazine where it covers several patterns made by the Dorflinger Company. In the article, it states that the making of this glass required no less then five separate acid baths and that these large floral patterns were highly prized in Edwardian times. These wine goblets are in fantastic condition – really no apology to be made here in any way. Each wine glass measures 6 ¼” high.

Antique Vase Engraved Crystal & Silver
Quite the spectacular crystal & silver Vase. It is 17” tall x 61/4” diameter of the base. The engraving on the glass vase is so finely detailed & extremely well executed. There are many subjects depicted here, a windmill, sailboat a Chinese style gazebo, a colonial style church, birds, flowers & more. The glass vase slips into the silver base, that is high repousse, on each side of the base there is a reserve with a tavern scene, men sitting around a barrel drinking & gambling. Overall the base is very ornate & hallmarked with the words Germany, a windmill & another hallmark, I think the picture of the mark will show you. I believe the base is silver-plate or a silver on copper & dated from the early 1900’s. It is in excellent condition with no damage of any kind.

Very unique item – I believe it is an ashtray in the form of an open ball. It has very nice deep cutting – made up of several different patterns. The quality of the crystal is excellent. Bohemian Lusters Crystals Engraved Pair
Here is an absolutely outstanding matching pair of fine engraved crystal Lusters. Bohemian/Czechoslovakian – beautifully engraved with foliage, deer, castles, and stylized sun bursts. There are florals all the way down the central column and also around the base. The work is delicate and fine. I love that frosted engraving on the clear crystal. They are circled by 10 long very long cut glass prisms. Overall condition is excellent except on one of the Lusters on the outside face of the rim there is a little chip or sort of like a flake – probably the size of a pencil eraser other wise statuesque and magnificent. They would make an excellent garniture for a mantel, side board, or sofa table. Another interesting thing about the Lusters is that they are hollow all the way through there is no solid bottom - if you look in through the top to the bottom you can see the table surface. I thought that was very unusual. Fabulous 19th century bohemian Lusters - matching pair - in very good condition. They measure 12 ¼”h with an overall diameter of 5 ¾”.
